1. e4 e5 2. Bc4 Nf6 3. Nf3 Nc6
Nxe4!? is playable: 4. Nc3 Nxc3 5. dc and white
has compensation for the pawn but not more.
Nxe4? doesn't work: 14 Nxe4 Qxh4 15. Qd5 with a big advantage. 14. Nf5 Qe6 15. Qe2 d5
Black tires to free his position, but he has not
seen the 17th white move. Better was Bc5 or Nbd7. Nevertheless, after
Ndf3, aiming at g5, the white attack would be too strong (if h6, Bxh6 is
attractive and correct). |
